Sketches of the Hero

Here I've attempted, rather poorly, to capture the hero, Kavio. I'm not very good at guys. Also, I still need to master the art of drawing crackling lightning.

Your drawings are really great! Though I think all male fairy-tales' characters have to wear beards? That way their appearance will be really noble and powerful at the same time? Sorry if this bothers you... Just my opinion, I create my characters that way, though it doesn't mean all the other writers have to do the same too... Many of my friends, readers, etc. disagree with me though they like my stories ;).
Well, I guess the more important thing is not the appearance of a character but the wisdom of the story, the good thoughts one could find there, or the great deeds, adventures... Best wishes! Keep the good work going! Let the wonderful noise of the sea always sounds in your ears! (a greeting of the water dragons' hunters - my Tale Of The Rock Pieces).
Oh, I love these! I love how he's kind of glowing in the second one. I find your comment about the lightning extremely funny for some reason. The hardest things I have drawing are hands. I can never draw hands right.

@ bru. Thanks. :)

@allanbard. Men in this world don't, as a rule, grow beards. Not even the wise old leaders. Sorry! :)

@ Michelle. Hands. Hands are tough.

Whoever the heck he is, I like him! I love the way you captured the shadows and planes of his body and the line of his jaw.

Oh, and Kavio is the hero in my wip. Sorry, I guess I should have explained that in the post.
