Edits Continue

I continue revivsions. I'm trying to follow Maass's suggestion of making certain each scene has microtension -- mini-mysteries and conflicts embedded at the sentence and paragraph level.

Also, I was stunned to discover Dindi Book 1 lacked cannibals. I've rectified that.

Hope edits are going smoothly :)

I think that's the hardest thing about doing revisions; making sure every, little, thing, runs, smoothly.

Oooooh, you've gotta love microtension. My new best friend.
That is excellent advice. It's a layer I haven't gotten to yet, but I will eventually. I've never heard it called microtension. That's awesome!
! Cannibals!

Why is that such a fun topic?

Keep at it. Sorry I gave you the zombie-editing face. Or maybe I got it from you...

Go, go, go, Tara!
Mini-conflict is good. I've tried to have people push against each other constantly in my book, even the characters who like each other are at some kind of cross purposes all the time.

Keep at it! Nobody doesn't like cannibals.
