Tara Maya, Intrepid Writer!

I wanted to do some xtranormal vids, like Zoe Who? but I haven't come up with anything yet. While doodling storyboard ideas, I came up with this comic. I have a couple of episodes, but I won't post them all at once.

(I don't know why it's so small. Help?)

Whoa, relax! I'm waiting for the print version. When's the print version?

Your covers are really good. By the way.

Same here on the print version.

Also, if you click on the image it expands, so it's okay.

But if you want, you can go back into post mode, highlight the picture and you should be able to set the size to small, medium, or large. It usually defaults to medium.

That said, I think they were updating their image upload/hosting service last night, so who knows...

Who, me? Uptight and insecure? Not at all....

Yeah. The print version is coming! Turns out I have to *mumble mumble.*

What?

I said, turns out I have to learn InDesign first.

I appreciate your patience. Even if it is a quality I totally lack.

It's set on large, and indeed, the "small" setting is even smaller. But I deliberately made the comic read top to bottom so I could take advantage of the full width of the blogger column, and it's disappointing it didn't work.

I think there's an internal limit on how large Blogger allows images to display with a click-through, but I've never figured out why. Bummer that you're hitting it. :-/

And I will be patient.

Okay, I've been patient. Where's the book????

Just kidding. Mostly. I am definitely enthusiastic for the book, but at the same time I understand it's a process and I don't envy you having to learn InDesign to get it together. Best of luck with that, and I promise not to be a pest.

But I do really look forward to the book. :)
Just go into the post and edit as html and remove the link tags, just leaving the image tag. It should display full sized then. I think.

I did what C.N.Nevets said and clicked on it to make it expand. It's really funny and I know how you're feeling.

Patience really is a virtue, even if it's the hardest thing to practice.

Spitballing: You could split it up into three images (1 per panel) to try to get around it.

I'm with you on learning InDesign. Fortunately, there are loads of tutorials. I figure once I've got a template ready (and understand how to do that), I can just plug in the text from then on.
Tehee! That made me laugh!

Tara, you really don't have to learn InDesign to format a book. Just saying. But if that's the way you prefer to go, I understand.

I had to order a Kindle first before I bought your book - need to do this right!

Also, I started my own blog (again) at http://sandy-hickerson.blogspot.com/

It's actually Sandy G's blog, but you know how it goes with us...share and share alike.

Thanks Aramelle! You rock!

@ Michelle. What? You mean there's an easier way to to this? Opps.... :p

Hey, I bought your book, started reading it on my brand new Kindle, and think you first story is the greatest thing I have ever read. (Haven't read the second story yet, so my opinion might change.)

Thanks, Aramelle. I hope you'll leave a review on Amazon when you're done! :P
SandyG said…
A review? You mean I not only have to buy the Kindle, then buy your book, now I have to do work??? Get some respect for your elders, girl! And can you get me a cup of coffee while you're up?

Oh, and I did buy your other two books. $0.99 each! Such a bargain! You will have to send me instructions on how to do that.
